and then there is this..... Step X,Y,Z.... unpack and again sorting into "keep", "donate", "put into basement", "throw out"... It's a looooong way to go to get from "I am selling my house" to arriving in your new place. But it's worth it, because this is what awaits me outside my door (the one that is 2 floors below me)...

The first step is feeling and saying out loud: I am moving. Moving out and Moving on. Second step is sorting your belongings into "keep", donate", "sell", "throw out". Third step is questioning: Is it the right decision? Am I doing the right thing? Fourth step is keep going. Just keep going. Fifth step is dealing with apotential buyers. Sixth step is questioning again: Am I doing the right thing? Why am I doing it? Why do I want change? This was a good life, why change i

What a wise and clever sentence on the top of a moving truck! This was "my" moving truck. Moving from a 4 BR house to a 2BR walk-up apartment.... I saw that sentence on the top of that truck from my new living room window, and it made me smile, on a very difficult day.

I sold my house. The house that was my peaceful oasis after my divorce. The house and garden, that I tried to offer peace to my children for 13 years. I hope I succeeded, at least partially. It's time for change. Nothing is going to change, if I do not take a first step myself. As painful as it may be. And it is painful. I won't lie. I am trusting in the power of change. I know there is space to grow, to change and to expand; privately and professionally. In the process
