And this is, how I combine the two with you...

We can combine various aspects of the ancient 8 limbs of Yoga practices with methods from the science of Positive Psychology.

For example:

Breathing/Pranayama/Meditation & Positive Emotions

Paying attention to the now, being in the moment.  Bringing awareness to how we feel, what or who serves us well and what does not.  This ties into the P & R of the PERMA Model of Positive Psychology. Positive Emotions and Positive Relationships.  Noticing positive moments throughout our day.  Pausing and noticing. Breathing and Meditating can manifest positive emotions.

Meditation can also bring us to Satya (truth) from the Yamas of Patanjalis Sutras.  Reflecting on whether I am truthful to myself and my life and my surroundings.
